We at the Country Park, and our many visitors, were met with shock and horror recently as a large group of unwanted visitors descended into the park. Unfortunately, our efforts to politely request that they relocate and allow us to clean the park and prepare for a series of upcoming events has, so far, been countered with aggression and intimidation.
With such large numbers of vehicles and caravans currently occupying the park, the level of litter and damage has caused dismay across our community. We are all heartened, however, by the overwhelmingly positive response from many in the community who have shown support for the park and it’s hard-working volunteer team, offering assistance in the clean-up to follow.
