Taking advantage of the planting season…

Volunteer Hub hedge south side

Mud, moat and rain notwithstanding… it was all hands to get planting around the Volunteer Hub recently! It is a pleasure to see the beautiful variation of plant life now surrounding our Park office. Our new hedging includes wild privet, guelder rose, hawthorn, elder, dogwood, dogrose, honeysuckle and even wayfaring trees. These will help to soften the fencing and add a further green element to our Hub.

We look forward to watching these plants thrive over the next few months and years and kindly ask that visitors ensure their dogs are kept away from them as they grow.
