Chestnut row

It was fantastic to have volunteer help to secure and protect our young chestnut trees, adjacent to our central hedgerow. Support straps and posts have been renewed or replaced before encircling trees in new, protective wire guards. We are sure you will agree that this looks less imposing, whilst offering freedom to grow along with the much-needed protection these plants require.

We look forward to seeing how they develop over the years ahead.
