Visitors may have spotted a new gap in our central hedge here at Maidenbrook Country Park. This new feature will later allow access to the information hatch in our onsite office, situated over the hedge from the wildlife pond.
Wildlife enthusiasts will be pleased to know that, whilst we have unfortunately had to remove this small section of hedge, further planting to replace shrubs lost earlier in the year is ongoing along our double hedge section toward the top of the Park. We have a range of species to be planted here, including blackthorn, spindle, privet, hawthorn and dogwood, and welcome any potential new volunteers willing to assist in this and other planting projects across the site.
